Some of these pictures happened in the timeline of last night, but I needed to steal them from my parents so I could share them! Plus I got some videos to share as well. So yay for that! It's taken me forever to get this post up, and part of it's just been me being lazy and the other part has been things getting crazy hectic in our lives. Blech. Things happen. But now I'm finally getting this up, and I have quite a few other things to post up later on as well. So much has been going on! :) But without further ado, here's the last bit of our Disneyland trip!
First, some other pictures from Knott's that I didn't have!:
Camp Snoopy! What-what!
The first ride Bananas ever went on! It was some weird little truck ride, but most of the rides they had open he couldn't ride. Bummed me out. But he enjoyed it still. Haha.
And he also rode the carousel! I didn't put him on one of the horses to make sure he was ok with the motion first. Then we ran out of time to get him on it again to go on a horse. But that's ok. We weren't there for very long, so there's not really a whole lot of pictures. So now it's on to Disneyland!
An obligatory picture in front of the tree. He was still sleepy from the car ride.
The boy made a lightsaber. He thought about taking it apart and putting it back, but then Bananas grabbed it and started om noming it, so we decided to keep it and it would be his when he gets old enough.
More pictures of the boy and Bananas getting into the rocket ride. Oh man!
All of us in front of the castle. :)
Grandma & the sleeping baby in Toon Town haha.
Yea, we're dorks.
The castle!
He was having such a blasty-blast!
I love this kid!
So this video is the lighting of the tree! Sorry it's sideways, but I wanted to get the whole tree in there, and really, it's pretty big! Haha.
This is Flick's ride. It's in the Bugs Life section. We were in the animal cracker box haha.
And we made up for not riding the horses at Knott's by riding an even better merry-go-round! Oh yea, sea animals! He really liked it. :)
We went up in the captain's section on the Mark Twain which was fun. He got to "blow the horn" and even "steered the ship" once. Baha. He really liked watching the shoreline and everything from so high up. It was lovely.
Such a happy little guy! :) I love it!
The Jungle Cruise! He wasn't sure what to think haha.
And the family in front of the giant Christmas tree bulbs in the Bugs Life section. Yes.
Part 1 of the Christmas Parade. :) We managed to get curbside seats, so I couldn't resist for Banana's first trip!
And the second part. I couldn't upload it all in one video, so I split it up. Bananas really enjoyed it, but he got really sleepy about half way through haha.
Those are just some pictures of him during the parade. He was fascinated by it.
Me being a dork on Space Mountain.
& Being some of the few crazy people willing to ride Splash Mountain in such cold weather haha. We rode it around 3 times. See the boy's face? He was trying to act brave, but believe me, he was scared lol.
On our last day, we managed to find Mickey right before the park closed, so we snagged a picture before the line formed. :) Bananas was passed out, but we couldn't resist anyways. He had to have his first Mickey picture after all!
And Bananas playing with the Snoopy we got him from Knott's. He got quite a few things, but most of them he can't play with quite yet.
I'm hoping that we'll be able to take him once a year. I'd love to do that. So that's my goal. "Growing up" at Disney is one of my favorite memories, and I really want him to have that experience. So we'll see! Hopefully it won't take me so long between posts again! Haha. Here's to a new year!
