Disney Trip, Pt. 1

Disneyland was
AMAZING!

I want to go back already. Kevin had a blast, I had a blast, and even Bananas had a blast when he wasn't sleepy or hungry! :P So here's some pics from our trip! <3

The only pic that I took at Knott's Berry Farm. I'll post more up once I get some from the grandparents!
We were waiting for my parents to ride Ghost Rider & we were entertaining him with the park map lol.

So we were only at Knotts for a few hours, but we got in for free, so we weren't worried. We were more excited for Disneyland the next day!

I love how Disneyland decks everything out for the holidays. They go all the way, they don't skimp at all!
These were the decorations on top of the entry gates!
And they always have the most amazing Christmas tree!
We ducked into the Town Hall real quick to get Bananas his 1st Visit button. :) He's gotta have that!
 More decorations down Main Street!
We decided to get some breakfast. We both got the Mickey ear pancakes, and then I got a fruit parfait, and the boy got this HUGE cinnamon roll! It was only $5, but oh man was that frosting delish! I wanted to just ask for a huge cup of it to take home lol.
And of coarse, I have to love my favorite ride decked out in my favorite movie! <3 I always love getting to go when The Haunted Mansion is transformed for The Nightmare Before Christmas. It really makes me feel like a kid again!
 Dad & Son! <3
He really loved seeing all the lights, sounds, & watching the rides go!
We were actually surprised how many rides we were able to take the little big guy on. Dad took him on the rocket ships!
It was a lot for him to take in, but he was always super excited after the rides were done!
The tree at night. So beautiful!
& the very front of the castle. It was breathtaking!
We took him on Peter Pan, my favorite kid ride. He loved it!
And the ever-so-great Star Tours! The boy was super excited, being the nerd he is!
& It's A Small World, all decked out. Another view that Bananas loved. He even loved the actual ride; there was tons for him to look at in there.
& The castle. :) See, gorgeous!
We put Bananas in his Tigger outfit one night, & thought it was hilarious how big it was on him! But it kept him toasty!
And I just love this picture! He looks absolutely disgusted with his pacifier clip! Lol.

I'll post more pics up later after I get them off our camera & onto the computer. But that's enough for now, I think! :)

Oh man!

It's been a while since I've posted on here. Almost a month! We've been busy. We went to Disneyland over the weekend, and now we have Oliver's first Thanksgiving! It's been a crazy month! Lol. I'll post some stuff up as soon as I can though! Hope everyone has an amazing holiday! <3

First Halloween!

So, Bananas of coarse had his first Halloween this past Monday! And of coarse we took a ton of pictures to remember the event by. :) We were originally going to dress him up as a banana (fitting, huh?) but it was a bunting costume and as soon as he realized he couldn't move his legs, he freaked out and wanted nothing to do with it. Then, I found a good deal on a Yoda costume. And with the boy being a huge Star Wars fan, how could I resist? :P

So we started off the day with taking Bananas to see his grandma at work. All the kids in her class love seeing him, and they all were excited to see "Master Yoda"!
Then we went to visit his great uncle, great aunt and great cousin. His first trick-or-treat! He was asleep when we got there, but he woke up and got his candy. We let him nibble on one of the lollipops they gave him, but with the wrapper on! Ever since his 2 bottom teeth came in, he's been staying up until 3am and we need to get him back on his normal sleeping schedule! But he was still happy just with gnawing on the wrapper. :)

Then we went to my parent's church. They do the whole Harvest Festival thing, and they set up games to play for candy and do free pictures and hand out food. It's good times, and everyone's always really nice and happy. So we had Bananas "play" the games, and he loved doing that and getting the prizes. His first prize of the night? 3 little gold fish! Lol. He's fascinated with them, but wants to play with them, and that's no good for the fishies!
Then we played some other games. He had to fling the coins so they landed on the circles.
This one, he picked out a ducky and that was the number of candies he got to pick out.
And then, of coarse, putting the football through the hole. :P
And we let him pick out the candy. He doesn't get any of it this year, but since he's in the grabbing stage, we figured we'd let him have at it!
And we gave him a wrapped Twizzler to nibble on. He was perfectly content and happy with that.
And then we took advantage of the free pictures. Bananas kept looking at everything but the camera, but we finally got him! These were my 2 favorites. :P

And then he crashed. Such a cute sleeping Yoda! <3 He had a blast, though, and he lasted a really long time! Of coarse, it went too quickly for me, but I always have the memories!
Sleeping in the car on the way home.
And then this was his stash, including the 3 fishies he won! Next year, he'll actually get to eat a few pieces. ;)
Hope everyone had a great and amazing Halloween!

Del'Osso Farms 2011!

On Saturday, we took Bananas to Del'Osso farms to have his first trip to the pumpkin patch! :) He was a little overwhelmed by all the people at times, but he was constantly fascinated and even manged to take a little nap!

Of coarse, we had to get a picture of him sitting on a large pumpkin. :P Already having fun!
Choo choo!
He was laughing at grandma and grandpa. :)
Going through one of the corn mazes!
He was helping mom try to figure out where we were in the maze! Contemplation!
After the first maze. We only went through one other one and then decided to take a break and do a few other things. Never got around to the last one haha.
Oops! He knocked over the bottle! :P He refuses to drink water out of his baby bottle. He wants to drink it like the big people do!
He had so much fun! <3
The boy decided he wanted to do this:
I hate heights. So of coarse, I skipped on it. But here he is, crossing one of the broken bridges:
Then we went on the scarecrow ride. He loved this, too!
I love him in sweatshirts. :P
And of coarse, we had to take a picture of him in front of the height pumpkin! My baby's growing so fast!
He had such an eventful night! He passed out pretty hardcore once he finally stopped fighting it. I love taking him to new and exciting places and I can't wait to take him to Disneyland at the end of this month! :) Ha makes me such a happy momma! <3

Swing, swing.

So the boy and I decided a few weekends ago to take Bananas on a trip to the park. I've been wanting to do this for a while, but with working full time, never really had a chance to. So I finally made time! -bad mom-

So Bananas experienced his first time on grass! And was completely unimpressed lol. He stayed on it like it was nothing new to him. Until he got sick of it and cried haha.

I love his little chubby legs. :P

After he was done on the grass, we put him on a blanket so he could stare up at the sky and trees.

Then we went ahead and put him in his Bumbo chair we got.
He likes it because he can sit up in it and watch everything, but his chubby legs don't let him kick or anything when he's in it. ;)

He also loves flying, and what better time to fly then when you're outside on a lovely day!

See? He loves it! <3

And mom and dad had to have some goof time as well:

And we decided to take a "family" picture! Bananas isn't sleeping, he just wasn't very happy at this point.

But we wanted to have him go down the slide (well, dad did anyways!) so we did that before we left.

See? Not a happy baby. :P

And not even a minute after the slide, this is what we had:

He was just sleepy from so many new things! But he loves seeing everything, I promise.

And I got some videos of Banana's first time on a swing and going down the slide! He seemed overly unimpressed with both lol. But maybe once he adjusts to them more (and he's older, of coarse!), he'll be more into it!
